Great news!! Spin Classes are back. After a very successful Champion Bicycles Training program and working with a wonderful group of enthusiastic multisport athletes, we have decided to bring back Champion Bicycles Winter Spinning Classes for the 2006/07 season. Program will run from December 2006 until March 2007.

Coverage of the Bike Workshop:

  •  Gears Adjustment (with cable replacement),
  •  Brakes Adjustment (with cable and pads replacement),
  •  Truing wheels (replacing spoke),
  •  Degreasing drive train (removing cassette, crankset, chain),
  •  Tools usage, tips and tricks,
  •  Working on your own bike.

 

Year end party at the Palasad North on Sunday August 27 starting at 7pm!! We will provide some fruit platters and pizza. Polar heart rate monitor and Tacx trainer as main draw prizes.

There is plenty to do at the Palasad, along with being a great place to just hang out and chat there is bowling (we have booked two hours for CBTG), billiards and all kinds of arcade game available. So we would like to end our year in style with a good party and get a glimpse of what everyone looks like without the Lycra and helmets ;-).

Sunny, warm condition, clean water, smooth roads, and wooded run course was perfect venue set up for Subaru Triathlon series. Champion Bicycle Training Group second focus race went very well with top places and great showing. Congratulation to all who took part in this great race.

In hot and humid condition CBTG riders tested their strength at the second 10 km individual time trial  at Bryanstone north of London. Congratulation to all. Results are here.

Jim Burrows Champion Bicycles won World Duathlon Championship in 45-49 division, Jim's finish time was 1:59:07 for 10 km run, 40 km bike and 10 km run, fellow Bill Wheeler earned bronze medal in 50-54 division with 2:05:39. Full results are HERE.

In nice sunny Saturday morning members CBTG participated in Retro Ride. All members have a chance to vote until Wednesday July 29th for best looking outfit at Champion's Message Board. First prize Champion Bicycles Team jersey. Good Luck. Some more pictures from the ride are here.

We just upgraded to new message board which should function much better, we should see new board loading much faster and we added few extra futures. We managed to transfer all data base from old forum so existing members should follow the same login. If you noticed some bags please report it to the board administrator.
